This teleprompter has the same features as the InteractMedia R810-4, but also has a couple additional features. The R810-5 comes with a metal frame that holds the teleprompter and your video camera. The frame attaches to a standard tripod. This model uses beam splitter glass that allows 70% visible light transmission. This is the same glass found in more expensive teleprompters. It reflects text from an iPad but also allows the video camera to capture the image through the glass. Your camera will not record the scrolling text. A black cloth covers the camera and darkens the area behind the glass. This allows the reflected image from the tablet to be more viewable. A silicone iPad case protector is attached to the teleprompter's platform and secures the iPad. The teleprompter folds down for easy storage or to take on location. Connectors, such as a wing nut and wing screws, allow you to attach the components together without the use of tools.
